The Padres announced weeks ago that Spring Training tickets would go on sale at 9:00 PT today.

They sent out an email Tuesday with the same information.

It has said that on their web site all week.

I've been at my computer all morning, wrangling digital photos for prints. Around 11:30 (8:30 PT) I decided to start getting prepared by clicking the ticket page and getting logged in. They use Ticketmaster, so there's generally no point in getting logged in early since the page won't load until tix are on sale.

Page loaded right away.

Apparently the Padres changed the onsale time THIS MORNING to 8:00am. The email they sent THIS MORNING had the new time in it. Now, if I were involved in a time change like that, I'd put it in the SUBJECT LINE... but no.

Yes, I still have decent seats, but I'm really ticked off that I was AT THE COMPUTER when tickets went on sale and could have--should have--had better ones. I'm only flying most of the way across the country...
