I quit my old, pre-BU job in August of 1997. I was 29; I'd been there for nine years. I enjoyed the business; I loved the customers. But I hated the owner by then, and hated the way he had reorganized the management structure. It was an ongoing source of frustration. I didn't quit over money, or hours, or anything like that. I was called in to a meeting where I was treated poorly. I went home and thought everything over. I brought in my letter of resignation the next day.

I don't understand what it is that Lucchino does that makes John Henry put up with this. I certainly don't blame Theo for deciding that he could no longer give his whole heart and soul to the organization. And if Lucchino is the source of the media leaks (and how could he not be?), why would anyone with a brain and a spine want to work for him?
