On actually doing things correctly

Working on has been an adventure, because I've learned a lot of things as I've gone along: for example, the importance of actually using set editing dimensions for photos (so that if you order prints, they don't get edited willy-nilly by the print processor) and setting the resolution levels appropriately (I did all my early editing without conserving as much detail as I should have in the resolution, though I've been going back and correcting that over time).

This week I finally ponied up for Photoshop Elements in place of my ancient Starter Edition. I can't decide if I am delighted or devastated by the one-button shadow adjustment. You just click, and the shadows get lighter. It's amazing.

But there are so many photos I need to go back and fix, now...
