holiday naps

Leopold was delighted to find that I'd decided to take a nap this afternoon (possibly because he can use me as a very large hot water bottle). He jumped up and started purring even before I'd acknowledged him. You could almost hear him. "Lying in bed in the middle of the day? Brilliant!"

I deserved a nap; cleaned out* the garage this morning of all kinds of accumulated junk. It's like clearing the fridge--there's a tendency not to throw things away even though there's also no chance that anyone will ever eat/use the item in question. It just needs to sit a while longer; then it can go.

* This is not to imply it is finished--merely that the car will now fit in there again.
